IBM was chosen as the prime integrator for the Defense Logistics Agency subsistence system modernization. DLA aims at implementing a Common Food Mgt System [CFMS] to modernize Inventory, Menu Planning, Ordering, Meal Production, and Point of Sale processes. The system design is service-oriented to maximize the centralized data's quality. My role as Sr. BPR analyst included designing streamlined functional processes to support an enterprise system that consolidates 5 antiquated military subsistence systems. The project brought exposure to SQL Server 2005, extensibility of .Net, and an introduction to IBM MQ series messaging.
