Completed Associates of Science Degree in Marine Carpentry. Studies included Wood and Composite construction techniques for the manufacture of boats. Use of hand, power, and stationary tools for woodworking, paint and resin spray systems, finishing, vacuum bagging techniques, steam bending, lofting, rigging, system installation, and basic metal working related to boat building. Course work included safety, psychology, manufacturing plant visits, maritime terminology, and boat design elements.
