How would you describe what you did at Verizon Communications?

I'm a contractor that works on prem at Verizon. I started out in 2000 as a drafter and have worked my way up to Field Engineer in the last 7 years. I engineer outside plant for new service orders such as subdivision layouts and individual customers requiring additional design to our existing facilities.
