I had a sales job working for an online company, and I was completely intrigued by our web development team. My curiosity was piqued by their ability to do "magic" on the web site to make it look, feel, and perform however they liked. I had experience working with graphics software (Illustrator and PhotoShop) creating designs for people, so I started tinkering with Dreamweaver. I was hooked immediately. I devoured online tutorials on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. I enrolled in school to get a second degree focusing on web design. I still spend most of my free time working on personal sites or side jobs, and I love what I do at work all day long. I started working in web design and I finally felt at home.
