Interview and recommend placement of candidates for experienced professional/technical positions. Seeks out sources of candidates including colleges, technical schools, and job fairs. Conduct new employee orientation sessions, answering questions and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
* Conduct exit interviews, offer outplacement services, offer employee relations counseling, or make referrals to outside agencies for additional counseling or other services.
* Conduct salary or benefit surveys, compile data and analyze results, and make presentations to management. Write job descriptions, administer the salary plans as presented by the Departments/Divisions, or gather data in support of proposals.
* Administer a large, more complex portion of the company benefits program. Answers employee questions on the various plans, gathers statistics and completes detailed reports for management, interfaces with the carriers or administrators to resolve problem areas.
* Responsible for liaison between the home office and domestic or international field sites. Recruit for open field positions, facilitate acquiring passports or other required documentation, offer orientation to employees and families as appropriate, and ensure the employee makes a smooth transition to the field site. Keeps abreast of the status of Company projects as it would affect length of assignments and other significant factors. Assists in developing foreign assignment memoranda.
* Reviews and approves expense reports for field assignments or relation.
* Completes special projects as required in support of Company or Corporate activities.
* Train lower level Human Resources personnel.
* Keeps abreast of human resources practices, current/pending legislation, and trends within the area of specialization. Actively participates in professional organizations. Routes materials of value to other Human Resources professionals and support staff.
* Actively participates in, and promotes, the Company Quality Improvement Process (QIP).
* Completes other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
