What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours?
Edit everything. Edit menus. Edit your own writing. Edit for free to gain experience, because there's always someone who needs their resume or thesis or screenplay or album's liner notes edited and/or proofed. Also, learn to use Track Changes in MS Word. Also, be willing to be flexible, because there's right, there's wrong, and then there's the person who signs your paycheck.
