How would you describe what you did at Major League Baseball Advanced Media?

Member of engineering department, which is directly responsible for acquiring and servicing all remote feeds from live games and ensuring quality and delivery to MLB.tv customers.
- Obtained daily acquisition of video feeds from each MLB ballpark, for every MLB game
- Set up and QA'd multiple video encodes for each game, to be used for external customer viewing and internal editing and logging use
- Helped produce live remote "look-ins" for use on ESPN's coverage of 2007 MLB Draft
- Helped coordinate live "hits" from various ballparks for use on MLB.com studio shows
- Responsible for troubleshooting video issues and immediately having backups ready to go as necessary, without impacting viewing experience for public
- Interacted with engineers nationwide at each ballpark to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues
- Routinely routed fresh video to MLB parks for use with in-game entertainment
- Gained valuable experience of how a major professional sports operation is run
