*Conducted the hiring process for new employees in the absence of professional staff *Project development, management and evaluation in volunteer opportunities, leadership development and student recognition programs for students in the UIC community *Supervise student workers *Coordinate the UIC Annual Student Leadership Conference for up to 200 students *Coordinate the Chancellor's Student Service Awards; an event to recognize approximately 250 students with up to 500 attendees *Coordinate communication between various departments to organize campus wide events *Assist with the selection and training of UIC Ambassadors *Create performance measures and evaluations for departmental programs *Develop budget requests, proposals for funds and record all financial transactions for the department
