NETWORKS, Melbourne, AUSTRALIA
As Senior Pre Sales Engineer, my responsibility is involved within multi projects for
proposals of Design and Optimization recommendations for Wireless Networks for
clients over ASIAPACIFIC areas including Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
Projects are detailed below:
GSM-R planning and recommendations including Link budget calculation,
engineering solution 900 and 1800 MHz with Hi-PA 60 W BTS S8003, Air-
Repeater, Optical Repeater, Channel selective frequency translating repeater,
tunnel coverage solution. GSM-R BSS parameter recommendations for
achieving QOS requirements. Solution for high speed issues (Hand-Over time
enhancement, presynchronised Hand-Over, cell reselection, power control, and
paging parameters).Recommendations are for Voice and data. Solution for
solving security issues. Installation recommendation for Cab-radio and Indoorradio.
Radio channel dimensioning (TCH, SDCCH, CCCH...) and optimization.
CDMA2000 and 1XRTT including Link Budget calculation, cell planning on
reverse and forward Link. Configuration solution for enhancing capacity for
voice and data 9.6, 38.4, 76.8, 153.6 kb/s. Ec/Io optimization and solution for
reducing Soft hand-off areas and pilot pollution minimize out-of cell
interference.
UTRAN cell planning and recommendation strategy using the infrastructure of
an existing GSM1800 network for achieving customer QOS requirements. Link
Budget calculation and new thresholds design .Traffic analysis and
recommendations on both wireless networks within a long term planning view.
CDMA-EVDO planning and Optimisation
Equipment: Agilent E7476A W-CDMW, UMTS Diva-Agilent post-processing tool for SC scanner,
UMTS RFO-DIVA (test mobile post-processing software), Radcom protocol
