Before I accepted my current position with MTV Networks, I was working part-time as an Office Assistant at an Accounting firm. Although the hours were flexible, I knew I didn't want to be there forever. I received a phone call from an employment agency who said they had an open position with MTV and asked whether I would be interested. Even though it was only intended to be a long-term temporary work assignment, I still accepted the role because it was more along the lines of my field of interest. Two months after starting out as a temp, I was hired full-time and have been here ever since.
