How would you describe what you did at
kutztown university?
Throughout my educational experience at Kutztown, I have developed an interest in public relations and education. I served as public relations chair for several organizations on campus. I also volunteered in the admissions office, serving as a guide for prospective students and families. For the first three years of my time at Kutztown, I was active in Newsbreak, the on-campus television program that aired local and campus news throughout Berks County. I started volunteering in the control room as a teleprompter operator, then landed a role as head news anchor for 4 consecutive semesters. I currently am a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America on campus. I also have developed leadership skills as a member of the Housing & Residence Life office team working as a desk receptionist. Working with the other community assistance in the residence halls allowed me to help plan programs, events, and serve as a campus leader for the 1500 residents living in my hall.
