* Manage a Chevrolet brand territory in the South East region consisting of 50 dealerships in NC, IN, KY, OH, TN, VA & WV. Previously managed a GM all brand territory in AL, FL, GA, SC in the South East Region and a GM all brand territory in IA & NE in the South Central Region. * Area ranked first in the Region during two quarters in 2004 and for during the first quarter in 2005. * Developed a New Owners Car Clinic Planning Kit to aid dealerships in preparing and conducting New Owners' Car Clinic. Persuaded 20% of dealerships to organize monthly/quarterly clinics * Area ranked first in Certified Used Vehicle sales from August of 2004 until present. Enrolled the highest number of dealers into (CUV) program. * Area ranked first in the zone in sales consultant and sales manager NonTechnical Training completion and certification * Wholesale trained and certified as an Area Sales Manager on the effectiveness of General Motors Vehicle Sales Service & Marketing divisional product and regional processes. In process of becoming certified as a dealership sales manager by General Motors non technical training standards. * Track Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores. Analyze trends, identify root causes of deficiencies, recommend action plans and counsel dealers on continuous improvement of their CSI scores * Moved $1,000,000 mix of undesirable and desirable Chevrolet product to a single dealership in one day * Counsel dealers in implementing General Motors policies and procedures, business plan, and retail process design. Identify sales-related prospects; analyze dealer local markets and competition to recognize specific marketing opportunities that can lead to increased sales of retail units * Support local retailer events that improve General Motors relationship with dealers * Understand General Motors goals and strategies relating to the overall business, brands, sales and service; and achieve these goals through the dealership business process. Serve as the primary contact while promoting partnership between General Motors and independently owned dealerships.
