ON Technology acquired by Symantec February, 2004

Recruited by the ON CEO to improve product delivery. At Symantec, reported to the Division VP and provided leadership to 64-person global (U.S., Europe, and India) software development team that designed and implemented an enterprise-class software deployment and configuration management product line. $6M budget.
* Expanded the capabilities of the Boston / Munich team, increasing headcount by 24 at a cost of 9, by outsourcing to India. Developed a helpful and effective multi-level relationship with MindTree in Bangalore by building a strong, trusting partnership.
* Delivered three (one brand-new) products on schedule, resulting in increased revenues, despite the distractions of integrating the ON development team into Symantec processes.
* Improved product quality and added critical features without increasing budget; increased development productivity by means of clear communications and structure. ON's revenues doubled to $40M in 2 years, increasing Symantec's interest in making the $100M+ acquisition.
