Responsibilities
* Installation, administration and maintenance of Netware and NT LANs.
* Execution of migration projects: Netware (3.x/4.x) to Windows NT.
* Installation and maintenance of Windows NT servers.
* Configuration of fax gateways with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange: FaxSR, Zetafax.
* Lotus NOTES basic administration.
IT Manager for WYETH LEDERLE (PHARMACEUTICAL) La D??fense - FR
.....User support for 350 users, and systems administration of 10 Netware servers.
.....Migration of Netware servers: 3.12 to 4.11 and creation of the network directory (full NDS).
.....Installation and management of a Groupwise email system.
.....Implementation & testing of an off-site disaster recovery plan (servers + routers).
.....Write-up of network administration procedures.
Achievements
* LAN network installation, upgrade, and maintenance services.
* Originally experienced in Netware environments, from this point on I also began to cater for NT customers
* Awakening to IT's golden rule :'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'
