The co-op program at UPS enables current college students to gain professional experience in their field to supplement their education. I was placed with the International Industrial Engineering department in Louisville, Kentucky in a position that provided support to several large groups through data analysis, work measurement, and process optimization. Included in this position were duties of maintaining current reports as well as discovering new areas of improvement where I was able to make significant contributions to both the Industrial Engineering group as well as the company as a whole.
