Power2Ship?
Responsible for the Intellectual Property, vision, development, management, and execution, of Power2Ship's web based software. Board Member and Officer of Public company PWRI since 2003. Assisted in fund raising or $10M in equity investment to develop the web based Asset Management tools, and Supply Chain Optimization tool set. Responsibilities included: Technical Scope, Labor, Management, P&L, Budgeting, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. * Built staff plan and Human Resources department to create Employee Handbook. * Began process of acquiring Power2Ship's Patent for the application, currently in Patent pending status. * Interviewed and hired staff for Sales, Operations, Accounting and Support. * Built Strategic relationship with COMDATA to process electronic payments to Transportation providers. * Built Marketing and Operational Plan for customer follow up with literature and telephone, CRM capabilities. * Integrated web based application with Great Plaines Accounting system to automate invoice generation and automate COMDATA Check card settlement. * Built relationships with over 3600 transportation providers with logins to the application for truckload transportation matching, and shipment visibility. * Built relationships with over 400 shippers (companies that have freight to ship). * Grew revenue from $0 to $550k per month in Brokerage revenue. * Company revenues grew from $0 - $30M + within 3 years. * Built a link into the Homeland Security space, with executed agreements for collaboration for RFP's. * Created Response to Homeland Security "Truck Security Pilot" Contract HSTS02-05-R-STZ500. * Developed relations with mega shipping companies for Pilot projects: GoodYear, International Paper, Averitt Express, Nestle', Bridgestone Firestone. * Built Pipeline of Business in excess of $20M of potential software sales. * Company failed to raise enough capital, and executed "slash the burn / Survival mode". * Kept company alive, and packaged application and company for new management take over, maintaining IT Staff to customize the application for future deployment. * Built International relationship with Emerson Fittapaldi and made sales calls to the customers in Brazil for a Power2Ship International presence. * Met with and established relationship with GPS providers and hardware providers to develop interconnectivity between their device and the Power2Ship application. * Developed Distributor model for private labeling and private distribution agreements for local supply chain management, "collaboration supply chain partners". * Travel up to 85% to build relationships with sales leads from the company's two sales people. * Developed rich relationships with several Homeland Security companies for application partnerships, L3 Communications, Unisys, ADT, and Tybrin.
