- County-wide responsibilities included Information Technologies, Telecommunications, Information Services, Geographic Information Systems, Data Warehousing, Imaging, Electronic Government, Internet and Intranet Development and Services, Internal and External Customer Service Telephone Services, Radio Services, Electronic Communications, Emergency Dispatch / 9-1-1 infrastructure support, Microwave, Fiber Optics, Satellite Systems, Local and Wide Area Networks, Cellular and PCS Coordination. The managing of IT policy and services to enable alignment of IT strategies with business strategies, project management and the handling and prioritizing of major multi-year multi-jurisdiction projects, County and Municipal Government, budget and financial systems and analysis, contract management, team building, coordination and coaching. That required an expertise in directing multi facetted technical projects, with a successful track record for streamlining operations, reducing budgets, developing partnerships, negotiations, promoting large team coordination and cooperation, customer service solutions, and doing more with less. I'm skilled in identifying and evaluating new technological developments, creating new innovative processes leading to major cost savings, and efficiencies and able to bring IT resources to solve business challenges providing cost-effective solutions.
