What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours?
Stumble around in the dark. The field of scientific research administration is still in its infancy, despite a birth-time right around the information technology field. While IT has exploded, most of us in scientific research administration didn't exactly choose our career - we fell into it. That said, it is very rewarding to be part of the support structure that allows science and medicine to thrive.
