What's the secret to getting hired at Simon & Schuster?

Have the skills that they need. You don't have to know someone to get a job here (sometimes it helps), but you do have to have all the skills that are in the job description. Trust me they test you. The other thing is they are reluctant to hire someone that is over qualified because they have to stay within their budget.
