I started out as an installer working for Office Images Inc. I became interested in developing into an independent contractor. I was given somee isolated assignments to complete. Many of them were out of town deliveries and installations as far away as New York City. Eventually I began to particiapte in local installs ranging anywhere between 5- 200 workstations. I began to develop a crew of other contractors. At one point in time I had as many as 8-10 installers working for me.My company worked on projects with major organizations such as Wachovia Bank,Red Cross,Woodruff Arts Center,Georgia Perimeter College, Scientific Atlanta, Internal Revenue Service and many, many others. The economy has precipated a competitive climate that has nmade it difficult to continue. It has become stagnate at times and at other times it has become unpredictable and unstable for smaller companies like Upscale.
