Starting working for them in an administrative capacity. Was afforded a promotional opportunity because my supervisors that I was more than capible. Began managing people, training, interviewing and working with human resources to ensure proper termination decisions were made. Work well under pressure, no supervision required. Operated computerized cash register and lottery machines. Assisted customers with product selections and purchases in a friendly, professional manner. Inventoried, ordered, and stocked products on store shelves. Performed selling techniques and maintained cleanliness and organization of entire store. How would you describe what you did at 7-eleven?

Assist category manager with product development, assortment management, introduction, information management and communication in the creation, setup, distribution and sale of prepaid wireless/long distance, gift cards, handsets and accessories for the United States and Canada.
Collaborate with
division merchandisers, field consultants, stores and customers to trouble-shoot challenges with prepaid products.
Coordinate with vendors for new item setups, cost changes, marketing changes, bill-back/allowances and distribution.
Create inventory movement reports, analyze trends and project future movement; report and advise on forecast results to category manager.
Negotiate with manufacturers/suppliers to develop marketing programs for their products.
Manage directly the DSD process applying strong knowledge of multiple distribution methods such as McLane, DSD, CDC and the 7-Eleven Import Program; synchronize external and internal distribution systems to insure accuracy.
Identify and analyze proper item maintenance/set-up for data entry of new and existing items in the Item Master database.
Advise stores on new product marketability via the New Product Information database and oversee the accuracy of data maintained and distributed to the store level; coordinate with the field and corporate merchandising category managers/assistants to maintain accuracy
