Experiences at A C Transit, Oakland, Calif. 94601

I was a bus driver for AC Transit from 2/5/70 till 8/83 felt burned out and had to quit and of all places move to my home town Seattle WA went to work for Metro Seattle.
How ever I am on offically retired from ac tranist ona pension.Byt my 12 yearrs was a rewarding time I enjoyed every bit of it met many people from employees to the public that rode the bus with me.did a news story while on the M and P in the Concord/Mtz line the M & P and ch. 7 did a news story on me and my pass. that all rode with me as we gave to the needy for Christmas that year and Mtz. PD met us at the end of the line and collected toys from all of us.Yes in the 12 years it was fun I would not do it again if offered in 1970 a job at BART I would go in a min.
