For those new employees in Client Services, I would tell them to listen to the client and make sure they have your full attention. The client wants to believe they are your only customer. So let them believe they are your only customer. Do not set the wrong expectation with the client but be honest with them. If you make a mistake then take responsibility for that mistake. Most clients will forgive as long as you can admit you made a mistake and have a plan to correct the situation....
