How would you describe what you did at
Adams State College?
While at Adams State College, I participated extensively in a variety of organizations centered around the development of career minded students into leaders for the future of this nation. These included the Associated Students & Faculty Senate, which I served as Vice President and President to during my college career; the Gay-Straight Alliance, which I served as President to during my college career; Phi Beta Lambda Professional Business Fraternity; and the American Choral Directors Association, which I served as Vice President during my college career. I also served as a Resident Assistant in the college's residence halls for a year and a half, and planned many events for student participation through the student government, including fundraising and sponsorship for many other events community wide. I served as the Student Trustee to the Adams State College Board of Trustees for 18 months, served on the Colorado Student Association Board of Directors for a year, and co-founded and co-chartered the Colorado Student Leadership Foundation in cooperation with a long list of participating schools from around the State of Colorado. These accomplishments, in addition to many hours of studying and dedication to my education, best describe my undergraduate years at Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado....
