Experiences at Adams State College

While at Adams State College, I participated extensively in a variety of organizations centered around the development of career minded students into leaders for the future of this nation. These included the Associated Students & Faculty Senate, which I served as Vice President and President to during my college career; the Gay-Straight Alliance, which I served as President to during my college career; Phi Beta Lambda Professional Business Fraternity; and the American Choral Directors Association, which I served as Vice President during my college career. I also served as a Resident Assistant in the college's residence halls for a year and a half, and planned many events for student participation through the student government, including fundraising and sponsorship for many other events community wide. I served as the Student Trustee to the Adams State College Board of Trustees for 18 months, served on the Colorado Student Association Board of Directors for a year, and co-founded and co-chartered the Colorado Student Leadership Foundation in cooperation with a long list of participating schools from around the State of Colorado.
