Permitting activities / documentation differs with each town, city, township, county and the state of Michigan. Permits required differing formats for drawings and forms for each. Applications to some agencies required multiple applications, one for each road that work was proposed to be worked along. Other applications required going to the office and meeting directly with the engineer in charge of approving the project....
