What's the secret to getting hired at Advantage Technology Group?

It is really quite simple. We want decent people who have good technology skills and GREAT communication skills. We want people from all walks of life to bring their uniqueness to the table. We will do our very best to portray our roles accurately; we need you to portray your skills, abilities, and desire accurately. If we (you and me) agree there's a match and we can make the money work, you're hired. It all starts with a need on either part and then an open and honest discussion of the facts.

We treat you like you are the most important part of our business.....because you are!

What's the secret to getting hired at Advantage Technology Group?

The people working here are very candid in their appoach to finding new people. They seek quality people who possess those hard to find "people skills," first. Everyone there is technically competent in their job. They will lean on you to determine your competency level. If you cannot hack it, do not fake it....because you'll mess up someone's stuff somewhere, not to mention hurt this company's relationship with their customers. They do expect you to take some risk (stretch your skills), because they believe in personal energy, innovation, ingenuity and responsibity.

I like the fact that the President is a working, technical guy; he works just like we all do and has some of the same issues to deal with. He is managing the network, applications, systems, and multiple development projects concurrently. He is an expert in databases and Microsoft technologies like SharePoint. He is very practical and very reasonable. He lays out the expectations and our job is to "get 'r done." There is NO micromanaging at Advantage; no one has the time to watch you (that doesn't mean you won't get help getting started).

This has been a great job for me and I highly recommend this company.
