What's the funniest thing that ever happened to you at Avenue A?

Getting laid off when I was on vacation. Ha ha.

I shouldn't complain too much though . . . it was NOT christmas and I did get three months severance.

What's the best team you worked with at Avenue A?

The QA team was not as cohesive as it could have been because we worked with different products with different delivery schedules.

The Vital Signs team was a hoot. We grappled with continuous feature requests on a new product while maintaining cohesiveness and quality.

What are the three best things about working at Avenue A?

1) Led several brainstorming sessions for the QA team that identified a variety of process mistakes and resulted in the introduction of rapid software development techniques.

2) First exposure to TestDirector and WinRunner

3) Improved accuracy of manual processes by developing system
using MS Access database, forms and VBA code in order to automate test authoring and assist manual execution.... read more

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Avenue A?

Organized a comprehensive documentation system to improve change tracking processes.

Initiated risk management strategies in test documentation and status reporting that resulted in more precise task estimates, especially the back-end processing tasks necessary for builds.
