The three best aspects of my position at BU was the overall warm and ever-changing environment in the office and college; the many dedicated and wonderful students that I was able to listen to, help and guide; and the staff, faculty and deans I worked with and learned from.

*Worked as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Dean: managed calendar, worked on special projects, created innovative ideas to keep the college up to date with procedures and policies, and maintained the student services office.
*Oversaw systems and procedures for the office: analyzed, developed and implemented procedural efficiencies.
*Managed daily operations of office; providing front-line assistance to students, parents, Dean, faculty, staff and visitors.
*Maintained calendars and event scheduling for 2+ Deans and 7 + academic advisors.
*Coordinated and implemented registration procedures, class scheduling and grading procedures.
*Maintained student record database of highly confidential academic and personal data.
*Hired, supervised, set priorities and evaluated part-time employees, administrative secretaries and work-study students.
*Completed special projects as assigned by the Assistant Dean, Associate Dean and Dean of the college.
*Responsible for collecting valuable information for students, faculty and staff and incorporating into a weekly newsletter.
*Assisted with administration of the local area network, included creating and maintaining the database for the college.
*Advised students on a multitude of areas in college life both academically and socially.
*Responsible for coordinating special events at the college varying from the current student body up to high-profile alumni events
*Proposed, integrated, managed and joined in the recycling of all environmental goods with in the building...

I received my Masters from BU in 2002. A very important aspect of my programs was the internship requirement, which gave me an opportunity to acquire real professional experience while purusing a degree.
