What are the three best things about working at Bally Total Fitness?Meeting new people, seeing people achieve their goals and making a difference in someones life who has come into the gym with no hope and low self esteem and see them in a month with a whole new attitude.

What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Bally Total Fitness?Explaining to an upset individual who has hired a trainer and have not lost weight. I simply had to tell this individual how imperative it was for her to follow her diet regimen and come inside the gym when not training. Training alone was not going to help her achieve her body weight goal.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Bally Total Fitness?Receiving new leads from members, because when things break down in the gym or the member is not satisfied with certain services that are being offered its very difficult to receive referrals. The company leads and cold calling are not enought at that point to make your daily sale quotas.

How would you describe what you did at Bally Total Fitness?I maintained the business plan and marketing strategy to drive membersip sales and revenues. Generate appointments for new and existing members. Sell memberships by providing fitness goals to gear them toward a fitness program. What's the secret to getting hired at Bally Total Fitness?For me it was my willingness to learn the sales side of fitness and memberships. The fact that I was my very ambitious and outgoing helped because the company wanted individuals who were not to afraid to cold call and could communicate effectively to people about Ballys and their products. How would you describe what you did at Bally Total Fitness?Never really the same work daily. There were different job responsibilities so the job never became boring or humdrum.

How would you describe what you did at Bally Total Fitness?I manged at least 4 people at any given time. Created schedules and duty lists for each staff member. I personally took care of womens locker rooms, restrooms, shower areas, sauna, hot tub and pool. Cleaning and sanatizing every inch of the gym was the task for my team.
