-As part of the DDG 1000 HCI leadership staff, responsible for schedule, resource allocation, and process and artifact development for a geographically dispersed, multi-company team. Also responsible for deliverable status and metric reporting both internal to the DDG 1000 team, as well as the stakeholders; includes the Navy Technical Team (NTT) and the multi-organization software development leadership. Scope of DDG 1000 HCI design team includes development of the ship's core operational and maintenance screens as part of a larger Human Systems Integration (HSI) effort. -Responsible for feature development of internal and external communication interfaces, and system administration watchstander screens. Includes software change request reviews and updates. -Led the reviews and revisions of the DDG 1000 HCI Style Guide. Conducted peer reviews and comment adjudication across multiple teams and organizations. -Wrote the HCI Non-Developmental Software Work Instruction to outline processes, documentation, resources, and criteria for integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf software selected by the program into the core user interface. -As the Usability Assessment Lead, presented DDG 1000 HCI process and example watchstander displays to active duty fleet in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA creating a network of subject matter experts to assist in the iterative screen design development. -Wrote the HCI Usability Assessment Work Instruction to outline processes, documentation, resources, and criteria to complete a Usability Assessment. -Planned iterative storyboard and preliminary design reviews, and acted as moderator in those reviews. -Responsible for assessment plan, and multi-organization plan review for fleet event using the interactive prototype for Systems Management, Mission Planning, and Integrated Undersea Warfare. -Assisted in development of testing protocols, usability test execution and findings report for Health and Status, Track Details/Tracks of Interest and Asset Control screens. -Participated in large screen display knowledge solicitation with fleet participants....
