Experiences at Batchelor Supply

My job was mostly consisted of buying stock, planning deliveries, key punching PO receipts into the computer and sceduling pickups of custom materials.

Inventory control experience with an understanding of the critical nature of inventory to production lines in the fact they cannot run out of product or it will shut down a production line.

My biggest project was creating a MSDS catalog for all of the products in the warehouse and creating a duplicate to be placed in the fire box outside for the fire department. It had never been done completely and many of the items had no MSDS. I addition, it had to be updated as new products were brought in....

Very simple. I met one time with the president and discussed my previous experience. I started the following week.

My major in college was Business Administration with a minor in accounting. My job and duties at Batchelor Supply was very much in-line with my major.

I was unemplyed at the time due to my job was eliminated at my prvious position.

2 or 3 months.

Work Hours with no weekends.

Batchelor Supply was constantly pushing the most state of the the art products for the new modular and mobile homes in the manufactured home industry. That was part of its reputation

It was unique in the fact that it was a business that specialized in buying and reselling as well as serving as a distribution warehouse for products owned by other manufacturers.
