After the merger of BlackRock and Merrill Lynch Investment Management was announced, I was heavily involved in the divestment and design discussions to separate very complex Merrill Lynch Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Inc. infrastructure technologies and then successfully managed the implementation of the divestment efforts. After the successful merger of the two firms, continued integration efforts to merge divested Merrill Lynch Investment Management infrastructure with BlackRock Inc. infrastructure. Also, working as Global Manager of all Active Directory and key Infrastructure technologies at BlackRock Inc. Some of the big accomplishments during
* Successfully migrated Merrill Lynch Investment Manager Windows Infrastructure to BlackRock with almost no interruption. This work involved leading team of engineers and technologists to separate Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, Trading Applications and other key Application Technologies from Merrill Lynch Inc.
* Redesign and standardize several technologies in the new BlackRock Inc. including Windows Active Directory Services and other key windows technologies
* Design new Distributed File System (DFS) for BlackRock Inc. Led the team and implement new Distributed File System (DFS) design globally
* Design new Domain Naming System (DNS) for BlackRock Inc. Led the team and successfully implement new Domain Naming System (DNS) design globally
