Experiences at blockbuster

The secret to getting hired at blockbuster is to be friendly, honest about the questions they ask you on rhe application, and be patient. Its a very busy enviroment so people are stress alot.

I was a customer service representive. My duties were to greet and assist any customer that walked through the front door, Answer the phones, keep store clean, check movies In and Out, and operate cash register.

When a person would walk in the store, I had to be the one to make them comfortable and give a very friendly greeting. When people would drop movies off, or return them, I would have to check them in and return them to the shelves. When a customer was ready to be checked out, I would have to have small talk while I was getting their movies checked out. When they leave, I would thank them for coming and to come again....

There really is no secret to getting hired at Blockbuster. You just have to have a positive attitude and "want" to work with people. You have to be a quick learner also.

I assist customer in their needs as well as start and maintain their accounts. I am knowledgeable about products and services and am a constant top seller. Must know a wide variety of movie and game titles, actors, directors, and other such information.

I ensure that the customers get the movies they are looking for and have a great service experience.
