What's the secret to getting hired at Bose?Outside of hard work and determination ther really is no secret. I am a hard worker and it takes me no time to learn a job. I like hands on experience. At Bose I got the chance to do many diffrent jobs.

How would you describe what you did at Bose?Conceive and develop consumer e-mails in rich media to promote and market Bose products. Develop banners for targeted campaigns. Write e-newsletter articles for opt-in audience of two million. Create SEO copy.

How would you describe what you did at Bose?As a "Demonstration Specialist" at Bose I am responsible for helping customers find the right home theater system for their needs. It is my responsibility to find out what the customer already has, and what they want to get out of their system. On top of this I am responsible for troubleshooting ...

What do people do for fun after work at Bose?There's a bar right down the street that people (especially Marketing) go to pretty often. Also, a lot of people at Bose are musicians and so there's always people getting together to jam or rehearse or listen to music. But also lots of people have families and just go home to be with them.

What are the three best things about working at Bose?1. The corporate culture. It's friendly, open, serious, hardworking, but also caring and well-balanced. 40-hour weeks are the norm at Bose.

How did you find your job at Bose?A colleague of mine from graduate school is a researcher at Bose. I contacted him and started interviewing for audio research positions. As part of that process, I met one of the marketing directors, and we really hit it off. So I ended up moving into a marketing-strategy position instead.
