1. Compilation of Annual Report throughout the year and present the same at the end of the year at the second biannual meeting. 2. Compilation and presentation of all four departments of Hestia at the biannual meeting of the Hestia advisory board (Yearly in January and June). 3. Weekly meetings with hosts to check on operations * Events * Public Relations & Promotion * Maintenance * Finance 4. Meetings with Hestia Coordinator on a regular basis 5. Operations Management Tasks * Events: i. At the start of the year, ensure that the event and activity planner for the year is created and updated in coordination with event coordinator. ii. Work with the event coordinator to ensure smooth flow in organization of events and activities as planned in the planner or spontaneously. iii. Define and ensure quality of events. * Public relations & Promotion i. Work with PR coordinator & ensure regular communication in the CHN Krant Newspaper, CHN Intranet, CHN Video walls, and Hestia Notice board. ii. Monitor visitors at Hestia and events and continually come up with plans to increase numbers. iii. Ensure that mailing lists are up to date. iv. Collaborate with other student groups and organizations to converge student activities. v. CHN University Representative for Hestia. * Maintenance i. Work with the maintenance coordinator to ensure that the houses are clean, well organized and maintained. ii. Keep a check on inventory and maintenance lists. iii. Plan new inventory in coordination with the maintenance coordinator and other hosts of Hestia. * Finance i. Work together with the finance coordinator to fix and set the budget for the year. ii. Keep a watch on Hestia Finances. 6. Management of the ongoing Website project * Responsible for overall updating and addition of new items on website including the Hestia Web-log. * Follow up on CHN Mosaic activity and work together with Misja Hoebe to represent Hestia on CHN Mosaic (ongoing project). 7. Always come up with new ideas, activities and facilities in close co operation with the hosts. Here you also have a chance to develop your own creative, communication and managerial skills; and define special managerial tasks. 8. Pre-arrival contact with new students. 9. In general, to realize the goals as described in the annual report and win-win performance agreement; through regular (planned) activities and if necessary ad hoc activities and work. 10. To maintain a log of the amount of hours worked and keep a systematic record of all Hestia documents and files for the succeeding manager....
