What's the secret to getting hired at CITGO Petroleum?

Very basic process here. I had the skill set they were looking for and an IT recruiter that was very good at connecting people he knew with the right company for the best fit possible for both the client and the specialist.

How would you describe what you did at CITGO Petroleum?

* Managed the daily sales support/marketing effort for over 300 oil and grease product/packaging options to 135 large retail accounts. Established self as primary contact for all sales and problem resolution. Responsibilities included daily order taking/processing, delivery/billing problem resolution and technical support. Personally handled anywhere from 30-100 orders per day with an average value of $30,000.

* Directed the daily activity, mentored and constantly motivated 2 customer service representatives responsible for taking and processing large inbound orders for wax and oil products. Continuously worked to improve system (SAP) skill, technical knowledge and sales skills. Efforts resulted in 95%+ plus of all orders being accurately placed by the 3:00 PM shipping cut-off standard.
