Experiences at CTI Resource Management Services

Managing time is probably one of the most challenging aspects of the job. This is simply due to the Navy culture which no one person is going to change. The Navy is 110% reactive and -10 percent proactive:). As a result, I have had to learn how to politically lead up and try to avoid reactive decisions and prepare to put out future fires....

Mainly, I would describe my position as project management. I do what would designate me as a "team leader", however, that is such a small part of my job. I developed the initial quality program for the company, 95% of the work instructions for the Customer Service Reps, the Performance Improvement Plans for reps and much more....

Possessing a positive mental attitude as well as strong problem solving skills is essential to procuring a job at CTI. The company is one of the better paying companies in the area. As a result, there is a good bit of competition for the positions available. A strong educational background is also important for positions such as the one I possess.The only downfall to the position is that it does not possess a lot of potential for advancement....
