The Flight Simulation Program contains three separate projects - F-4 Phantom Flight Simulator, Motion Flight Simulator, and Autonomous UAV Helicopter. The Program is entirely student run with no Faculty oversight, only Faculty advisement. The F-4 Phantom was donated to Cal Poly's Aerospace Department in 1993 by NASA. After 10 years of coding it became an operable flight simulation tool. We are now nearing completion of our Motion Flight Simulator in our new Aerospace Controls Lab.
