I learned how to communicate with many different types of people with various education levels. My job involved direct communication with the operators, other chemists, various department supervisors, and my manager on a daily basis.

I am responsible for ensuring that customer specifications are met by final product analysis and approval. I also work on short and long term projects for various departments and supervisors.

Sample analysis by atomic absorption, HPLC, spectrophotometry, microscopy, pH meters, carbon analyzers and nitrogen analyzers. Monitored process to ensure product specifications were met. Solved process problems. Corrected instrument problems. Provided accurate analytical data to customers. Recruited and trained employees. Inspected plant.
