Get it in writing!! and don't ever believe anything until it is in writing and you are doing it.

Know your subject inside and out and try and keep an organic approach to instruction. It is rare to ever end where you want a course to end. It meanders along its own path and is directed (in part) by the students.

Freedom. Independence. Lack of daily bureaucracy (at the centers).

Students that do not follow the syllabus and then want to challenge their grade after it has already been posted.

Little to no support. Weird hours. Low pay.

Course instruction to include lesson plan development, lecturing, assessment, and grading.

Networking. My chair is one of my graduate school sponsors. Without my personal connection to the chair and others in the department, I would have never known about this job opportunity and would not have known to apply.

Central Washington University accepted me back to complete my dietetic intership. Through CWU I was placed in Wenatchee, Washington to complete 9 months of dietetic interning. I was placed in Wenatchee because of my ability to speak spanish and communicate with patients and clients. Interning was an amazing experience!...

I completed my Bachelor's of Science in the area of nutrition and dietetics.

Completed my courses and graduated with my BS.
