Experiences at Chester Regional Medical Center

The most challenging part this summer was learning to be independent with my job. I was given a lot of freedom to do what needed to be done. I had to discipline myself to get everything done in a timely manner. That was very challenging at first. There was nobody to keep track of me to be sure I was progressing. I was given a project and a deadline and it had to be done....

I built a good relationship with my boss at the sister hospital, Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. I went to her and told her I needed another internship position and she helped me earn this one.

I created an outpatient guide, organized the public relations department since they are currently without a manager, and created numerous newspaper, phone book, billboard, and radio advertisements.
