What's the secret to getting hired at Church of the Open Door?

I was asked by the Executive Secretary to the Senior Pastor to be her assistant and within a couple of months was promoted to my own department under the Children's Pastor to assist him. Then advanced again to the Pastor of Worship and Music which was more detailed.
