I answered inbound calls regarding billing and technical issues with wireless communication devices. I created purchase orders for equipment and accessories.

IT Billing Analyst
-Responsible for auditing and validating telephony invoices for over $2 million dollars monthly
-Analyzed and approved telecommunications invoices utilizing Bill Tamer that read bills electronically using Oracle database

My duties at Cingular were to utilize basic sales tactics and people skills to persuade the consumer to join the Cingular family and purchase the products we offered. It was also my job to use the sales software that the company ran on to submit customer information into our database. In addition I also did inventory, cash transactions, credit checks, and store upkeep....

Provided strategic direction and support for nationwide staffing. Directed staffing technology, vendor selection and management, strategic sourcing, university relations, policy and process, and metrics.

Staffing Specialist (Position eliminated)

Directed efforts to source and hire qualified candidates. Responsible for working with hiring managers to define job specifications; creating and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies, assessing candidates non-technical skills/knowledge and attributes.

-Partnered with temporary agencies and management to ensure headcount for each new hire team fulfilled monthly hiring initiatives.
-Worked with HR and Compensation post-merger to ensure internal transfers were processed correctly in a timely manner.
-Researched demographic data to develop recruiting strategies.

Staffing Conversion Coordinator

Newly created position for temp-to-hire conversions for all West Coast call centers. Managed project successfully with minimal supervision.

-Created, organized, and managed intranet folders for each weekly conversion.

Cingular was a great company to work for. I originally started as a phone repair technician and quickly moved up the ranks to the Manager of the entire operation (within one year). We were responsible for repairs and refurbishment of TDMA/GSM handsets for the entire company.

I was courted to come work for Corporate HQ, and became the East Coast Regional Supply Chain Market Manager. In this role I was responsbile for training, development and implementation of new strategies across the region. Many ideas that I developed became company-wide practices.

My final role at Cingular involved managing our strategic alliances with eight of our Phone Suppliers. This included contract negotiation, pre/post phone launch end-to-end testing, failure rate analyis, site audits, and customer protection. This role was quite rewarding, and I made great friends that I still keep in contact with to this day....

I assisted current and potential customers with finding cellular products consistent with their needs. I supervised a team of 4 employees. I completed weekly and monthly audit and inventory reports as well as daily, monthly and weekly sales in comparison with other stores.
