Experiences at Circuit City

I was a customer and an employee offered me an application. I was a college student and thought a part time job would be good. I applied and got hired for the holidays and I stayed for 6 years.

As Customer Service Manager I learned how to not take customer's actions personally, I learned that they were made at the situation. In learning that I was able to better understand their concern and find a solution that worked out best for everyone.

Showing that you can work in the fast paced world of retail warehouse work. being detail oriented and friendly.

there is really no secret apply online and call the store if they ned people they will call you seasonal is always an option especially around black friday

Well, a few times we'd get customers who were upset and unwilling to cooperate with our staff. They wanted to return an item without a receipt and unfortunetly we are not allowed to do that unless they paid by credit card and we have it in our systems. Other than the few people who just wanted to yell, there were no bad aspects. If you love what you do, then nothing is too challenging. And I love people....

I don't think there was a secret. I love to interact with customers. I love helping people find exactly what they're looking for. It also allowed me to organize and clean, which I love to do.

Being attentive.

The secret to being hired at a place like Circuit City is to be kind, open minded, willing to learn, work at a fast or slow place and to be very versitile.

This was a seasonal only job. Helping customer with cd's , dvd , basic computer and mp3 needs.

Made sure the shelves are stocked
