How would you describe what you did at Coca-Cola Enterprises?

My last position at Coca-Cola was as the Distribution District Manager in charge of coordinating the route drivers for the DC, Metro area. I had four distribution supervisors who managed our team of drivers. I was also in charge of the Special Events Department, in which my staff coordinated local events such as: Stone Soul Picnic, A Taste of DC, Adams Morgan Day and the list goes on. I also served as the District Manager, in charge of Merchandising, before I was promoted to Distribution Manager. Commercial Account Manager-Washington, DC (2002-2003)
Managed the business relationship with contracted large volume clients within D.C. and Maryland market place. Developed business plans and executed profit building strategies.
-Exceeded sales goal by 6% in 2000 with a 4% price premium over
competition. Second in district for profit growth in 2001. Surpassed sales goal in 2002 by 5%.
-Under my direction was able to increase national account chain "Subway's" beverage quick service volume in my territory by 14% in 2001.
-Won Seagram's corporation sales incentive for increasing brand presence in 2000 and 2001.
-Led category management and implemented division pricing strategies.
-Activated marketing initiatives and worked with clients management teams throughout region to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.

How did you find your job at Coca-Cola Enterprises?

Great to be in the Union, but alot of problems when it comes to scheduling. Not only that, NO company vehicle are available for merchandiser, as for Pepsi Co. High pay but lack of interest for employee needs. So much for being in the Union.
