Studied journalism as well as other arts including photography and design. Staff member of award-winning student newspaper; Art Director of award-winning student magazine.

Bust my butt to make sure I learned everything I could, and utilize every facility / opportunity that was offered.

I concentrated on color narrative photography, with a specialization in traditional darkroom printing. I also studied lighting for still and motion picture, digital photography including scanning and printing, bookbinding, and papermaking.

For three years I was also a teacher's assistant and darkroom lab aid. As a teacher's assistant I helped in the classroom, helping the students learn to print traditional color and black and white. I also made and transferred chemistry, kept the darkrooms in working order, and checked equipment out to students....
