What's the toughest problem you've had to solve at Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, LTD.?I don't know that I could come up with the absolute toughest. Every day is full of problems to solve. For instance, trying to explain to developers that a certain detail of the building is too small to put on the model. Problem-solving was one of my favorite aspects of the job.

How would you describe what you did at Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, LTD.?I designed and built architectural scale models for developers. We would build a scale model of their building for them to use as a sales tool in their sales offices.

What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, LTD.?Trying to coordinate all the information you're getting from the developers, architects, contractors, etc. Sometimes keeping up with the email about brick color changes is a job in itself.

How would you describe what you did at Columbian Model & Exhibit Works, LTD.?I started as a scale model builder there. The company became very busy and need more AutoCAD help. Some of my co-workers gave me a crash course in AutoCAD. That led to more and more design work for me. It also led to bigger projects; like the redesign of the Chicago Housing Authorities most ...
