As a Senior Recruitment Partner my responsibilites were focused on recruiting and staffing talent for the National Engineering & Technical Operations division, hiring talent to Plan, Engineer, Sustain and Operate for its High Speed Data, Digital Voice and Cable Products. Partnered with the Operations Team, the Project Management Team, the Implementation and Deployment Team and the Office of the Chief Technology's Team. Provided partnership with each business unit to develop effective staffing plans, manage and maintain reporting and metrics for all areas of recruiting to include EEO, FCC and OFFCP reporting and compliance. Having prior experience displaying abilities to work independently as well as on a team. Good Project Management skills and the ability to "put out fires" before a problem needs to be escalated. Managed payment center. Customer bill payments and services. Also responsible for inventory and distribution of equipment. Strong people and money management skills were required. Knowledge of products and services to ensure the highest level of satisfaction for the customer. What are the most challenging aspects of your job at Comcast?

The most challenging of the job was satisfying the customer. Sometimes our hands were tied and we couldn't give them what they wanted. Coming behind another representative and correcting their errors. Sometimes not having all the answers.

How would you describe what you did at Comcast?

I assisted customers were wanting to transfer their existing services to a new address. If needed explain their bill or help the customer to understand any discrepancies they felt we noted. My main job was if the customer called to cancel all services or one main line of business (I.e. phone, cable, internet) I would try and retain them by helping them to understand the value of Comcast and/or offering a promotion. Also offering to add a line of business or additional services, upgrade them so to speak.... read more

I would have to say being customer oriented and wanting to help the customer. Willing to take the extra mile. Good phone voice and patience. Strong drive to sale and able to adapt to change.
