Comter Systems is a woman-owned 8(a) IT consulting firm that serves a wide range of federal and commercial clients including The Department of Defense, The Department of Labor, The Smithsonian Institute, and The US Navy.
- Strategic Planning. Working with practice managers to develop business growth strategy-analyzing competitors, exploring potential partnerships, and evaluating industry opportunities and threats to determine future direction. Successfully developed three strong partnering relationships in 6 months. - Proposal Writing & Management. Managing the proposal writing process and team from start to finish- creating timelines and project plans, assigning roles and responsibilities, developing win themes and document layout. Developing marketing content and completing final editing of the proposal. In less than a year, developed 4 winning proposals - Developing Corporate Communications Plan. Strengthening company brand through the development of marketing materials such as brochures and capabilities statements, as well as utilizing quality graphics, logos and printing. Led the staff in creating a cohesive communications plan for marketing the company to potential clients. - Developing & Maintaining Human Resources Systems. Collaborated with practice managers to create organization's vision, values, & mission statement. Continually developed ways to integrate these elements into all of the organization's HR systems- from employee standards to performance evaluations - Recruiting.
