Experiences at Corning Optical Fibers

I worked in a spacious laboratory with a DEC VAX, a whole pile of testing equipment and a couple of Macs. I was just down the hall from a vending machine which had hot food if you worked late. Security was pretty hardcore.

The culture was pretty cool and it was a good work environment.

Well Corning have since closed down the plant that I worked at so I guess I would have liked to have changed that so people still had their jobs, but it was a cool place to work.
